

MCC Manager for Malta
SmartLynx Airlines specializes in full-service ACMI aircraft lease services and is an acknowledged ACMI, cargo, and charter provider in the EU on Airbus A320, A321, and A330 aircraft. You have:
- You enjoy establishing clear and specific goals with the team and find the best ways to overcome challenges then this might be the perfect opportunity to become an MCC Manager;
- If you are a team player with leadership skills, you excel with a positive mindset and you are supportive towards your colleagues. You know how to delegate work and to improve productivity;
- At least 3 years of managing a maintenance control center;
- Worked in all areas of maintenance, wide range of experience from heavy maintenance, line maintenance, and planning;
- Proven record as licensed MCC;
- For this role you must have the right to live in the EU;
- Minimum 5 years experience in the airline industry preferably with wide-body aircraft and narrow-bodied MCC management experience.
What will you do:
- Organize and coordinate the execution of all of the maintenance required to deliver an effective and responsive service of all aircraft to the highest quality and safety standards;
- Reviewing the aircraft technical status in relation to the level of the deferred defects, spares, aircraft part loans, and any technical activity across the fleet; in order to ensure the maximum technical dispatch level and high-quality maintenance standards;
- Ensuring that all efforts are undertaken by your team to deliver a high standard of dispatch reliability, according to laid down processes and procedures;
- Guiding and supporting the maintenance staff in the daily operation to assure that the most efficient course of action is taken to provide a serviceable fleet, on time;
- Organize and coordinate the execution of all of the maintenance required to deliver an effective and responsive service of all aircraft to the highest quality and safety standards;
- Schedule personnel to ensure the 24/7 operation of MCC;
- Provide assistance and direction for critical aircraft maintenance events;
- Provide the interface between MCC and other departments for airline maintenance and aircraft status information;
- Maintain surveillance of maintenance activities worldwide. Intervenes in case of major mechanical problems, providing necessary technical support, skilled manpower, parts, tooling, and planning assistance. Renders management decisions in order to minimize aircraft downtime;
- Works with the Reliability department for the weekly repeat item meeting to identify chronic and repetitive aircraft problems and develop Action Plans for their repair. Coordinates corrective action with Engineering, Reliability, and Materials Departments as required. Monitor’s effectiveness of Action Plans.
