With a fleet of 70 aircraft and Latvian, Estonian, and Maltese Air Operator Certificates (AOC), we ensure the highest level of performance, technical reliability, and customer service, enabling our partners to meet their capacity requirements without the burden of expensive fleet expansion and crew costs. 

We are a unique ACMI passenger lease provider with a diverse fleet and comprehensive business operations. The team of over 550 aviation experts and technicians, along with 1400 professionally trained crews, ensure that the highest quality standards are met and that customers enjoy an elevated travel experience. 

Flexibility is fundamental to our operations, as we aim to seamlessly meet the needs of our customers. Our online check-in system comes with fully customizable features, including multiple products, a wide range of services, multiple language capabilities, and visuals designed for easy engagement. 

Additionally, we spare no effort in ensuring the training and well-being of our staff and aircraft. The SmartLynx Training Centre offers comprehensive type rating courses for the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 series, as well as Cabin Crew training. SmartLynx Technik provides a top-notch service for the airline’s aircraft, with a team of certified technicians handling everything from diagnostics to repairs and modifications. 

For over thirty years, we have been providing reliable air travel services, with headquarters in Riga and offices in Estonia, Lithuania, and Malta providing cutting-edge, end-to-end capacity solutions for both passenger and cargo airlines around the globe.

He boasts a degree in Tourism, as well as an IATA Training and Development Institute certification in aviation, and has accumulated valuable experience at Vilnius International Airport.

Skirmantas Sutkus has advanced qualifications in Finance and International Business and extensive experience as CFO. His impressive portfolio of work encompasses a range of industries, including Holding companies, Banking, Real estate, Retail, Raw materials, Entertainment, Agriculture, and Food processing. In his leadership role, Mr. Sutkus oversees all financial, administrative, and risk management operations; develops and implements financial and operational strategies, and manages growth and M&A deals.

Sigurdur Hrafn Gislason

Chief Risk Officer

Sigurdur Gislason has been in the aviation industry for over a decade. Joining SmartLynx Airlines in 2007, he has held the position of Safety & Security Director for many years. Prior to his tenure with SmartLynx, he had experience in the aviation industry as an employee of ACMI operator Air Atlanta, as well as with NATO in the civil aviation development efforts in Afghanistan. Mr. Gislason holds a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Latvia.
